An Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of an organisation by providing efficient administrative support. This position involves a variety of tasks ranging from managing correspondence and organising files to coordinating meetings and supporting the wider team. We are looking for a Technical Administrator to work within our team on the A30/A35 DBFO project in Rockbeare, Exeter.
Key Responsibilities- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and postal correspondence
- Maintain and update electronic and paper filing systems for records, correspondence, and other documents
- Schedule, organise, and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for staff members
- Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and reports for meetings
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and general office tasks as required
- Manage office supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure the workplace is well-stocked
- Greet visitors and provide support to guests and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
- Support with any other administrative tasks as required
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
