On behalf of a leading engineering consultancy, First Recruitment are seeking a Stress Engineer to join the team in Derby. You'll be responsible for producing design and manufacturing documentation for both mechanical equipment and structural supports for defence / submarine projects.

Requirements:

  • Experienced with using and understanding the requirements of any of the following codes: ASME VIII, EN13445, Eurocode 3 and BS EN 1090; EN13001.
  • Knowledge of the design code RCC-M or ASME III is preferable but not essential.
  • General knowledge of FEA is preferable (Abaqus, Ansys, MathCAD).
  • Due to the level of security clearance required, sole British passports only.
