On behalf of a Tier 1 Utilities company we are seeking an Environmental Planner to join the team in the Derby office. It is a staff position, hybrid working supporting on Water frameworks across the UK.

Key responsibilities:

  • Consultation with designers and project managers to understand project scope and advise on environmental consenting requirements.
  • Assist with the identification and coordination of EIA/town planning requirements.
  • Coordinate the delivery of project level design 3rd Party / Environmental Risk Reviews and identify planning and environmental scopes of work.
  • Input into project costs.

Essential Knowledge and experience:

  • Environmental management/consenting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and negotiating skills.

Ideally:

  • CSCS Card.
  • Project Management from an environment focus.
