Our Client has a requirement for an Electrical Inspector, who will be required to work on a long term contract basis in Reading. Job Role Responsibilities: • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external Customers. • Equipment ranging from Class 1 nuclear pressure equipment to items manufactured and installed to conventional codes, standards and regulations. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • Have a good working knowledge of UK requirements for Inspection within the nuclear industry or transferable experience from another high hazard industry. • Experience and understanding or the ability to learn nuclear and conventional codes and standards relating to Inspection of Electrical equipment on a Nuclear or related high hazard site, to include installation, punch lists, reporting and full NCR process. • Be able to demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to technical and non-technical work. • Have experience of managing a range of stakeholders and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of influencing and negotiating, particularly in technical discussions relating to Inspection. • Have good technical writing and communication skills. • Good working knowledge of the Customers quality requirements • Good working knowledge and application of ISO 9001. • Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes.
