We are one of the foremost foreign exchange (FX) experts in the industry, with a multi-billion pound wholesale business and over 20 years’ trusted experience providing tailor-made travel money solutions for companies in the finance, travel and retail sectors.
We have a vacancy for a Product Analyst to join us on a nine month temporary contract.
The Role
You will Support the Senior Product and Pricing Manager to deliver strategic and operational pricing and MI analysis across all FRES products. Also Support the uplift in product data across internal/external departments through the use of modern analytics techniques.
- Assist with the commercial analysis of daily FX margin management and aligning to pricing strategy.
- Actively seeking out opportunities to improve MI and the availability of self-serve information utilisation.
- Assist the Product team in developing advanced modelling techniques to monitor and manage portfolio performance and understand cohort and churn analysis.
- Leverage advanced analytics to tell a compelling customer story, understandable across all levels of data numeracy.
- Collaborate across the wider product, marketing and risk teams as a cross functional team in an agile framework.
- Provide effective and efficient reporting of Retail activities and post Implementation reviews to agreed frequency and timescales.
- Transform and automate existing MI reporting, taking ownership of building self-serve dashboards and creating meaningful insight.
- Collate, analyse and report on daily point of sales MI, highlighting and communicating commercial opportunities.
- Own the development of effective competitor analysis across prepaid foreign exchange cards and foreign cash market.
- Support the Senior Product and Pricing Manager when working with POL and other third parties to support key product offerings, marketing campaigns and other commercial projects.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis in response to business requests from Senior stakeholders in the Trading Committee, compliance or sales.
- Support and provide direction to cross-functional, cross-company teams, focussing on the FRES travel sales team, customer services and IT.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in creating meaningful data insights with SQL and or Python.
- Experience in finance, banking and or payments desirable.
- A track record of breaking down complicated concepts to stakeholders in plain English.
- Ability to think proactively about business challenges and provide solutions.
- Ability to quickly create relationships and establish trust with key stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel. Experience with Python is desirable.
