We have a vacancy for a HR and Recruitment Coordinator to join us on a 15 month temporary contract.

The Role

To assist and support managers with the full recruitment and on boarding process. Provide HR administrative support on a day-to-day basis to support HR’s operational and strategic requirements.

  • Responsible for the full Recruitment and on boarding process
  • Administration and coordination of First Rate’s Digital Workspace, Exchange
  • Building Relationships with Managers and Third Parties
  • Coaching of line managers in the most effective use of HR policies and procedures and continual improvement of the ‘customer experience’
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to HRBP’s and HR Director as required
  • Resource Planning with all Departments
  • Working with recruiting managers to ensure that role profiles are up to date
  • Advertising roles via online platforms/agencies and ensuring they adhere to our values, communication standards, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policies and our employee brand
  • Headhunting via LinkedIn where appropriate
  • Managing candidate responses, conduct screening interviews and arranging interviews, meetings, tests etc.
  • Supporting Managers with the interview process
  • Issuing offers/contracts and new starter documentation
  • Ensuring that pre-employment checks (DBS, Right to Work and references) are carried out
  • Obtain candidate references and right to work evidence
  • Complete new starter and exit interviews
  • Reporting on recruitment activity
  • Administration and main point of contact for super users of First Rate’s Digital Workspace, ‘Exchange’

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of the full recruitment process including head hunting, advertising, screening, and making offers.

  • Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing and HR coordination
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Detail-oriented, with a proactive and positive attitude
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • CIPD qualified would be an advantage
