Position: Cleaner/Shunter
Location: First Bus Taunton, TA1 2EH
Contracted Hours: Fixed Term Contract for 1 year - 39 hours per week
Working Pattern: Mon-Fri 4pm-12:30am
Pay Rate: £13.73 per hour
About The Role:
Cleaner/Shunter - You must hold a valid UK driving license to be considered for this role. Do you want to be part of our energetic team of cleaners, engineers and maintenance staff that look after our fleet of vehicles at our Taunton depot? If yes, this Cleaner/Shunter position could be just the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning duties on vehicle interiors
- Shunting vehicles around the depot ready for shift, maintenance or next clean
- Carry out vehicle interior and exterior cleaning, including exterior cleaning using a pressure washer when required
- To ensure that the oil and water top ups are carried out as required
- Carry out general site maintenance as and when required
- To record details of all work done and accurately complete any necessary sheets/record cards
About You:
You must hold a valid UK driving license to be considered for this role. Do you have a flexible approach to working hours? Do you have previous cleaning experience? Bus driving experience would be beneficial, a PCV license is not essential.
