Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in telecoms or utilities infrastructure? We’re hiring for a long-term contract role supporting a major fibre network rollout across the South West.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Estimating costs and materials for fibre build projects
- Reviewing designs and validating quantity requirements
- Managing budgets, tracking material usage, and controlling costs
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers
- Supporting procurement, contract management, and change control
- Visiting sites to assess progress and ensure accurate reporting
- Producing reports, risk assessments, and commercial documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying or PMO roles
- Strong knowledge of FTTx or telecoms infrastructure
- Skilled in Excel, MS Project, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites
Nice to Have:
- RICS certification
- Experience with fibre network builds or telecoms contractors
