We are seeking an experienced IMS Core Engineer to join a leading telecom team in the UK. This role is critical for ensuring the integrity and performance of 4G/5G core networks through rigorous testing and analysis.
As an IMS Core Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in validating and optimizing next-generation mobile networks. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to strategise and execute comprehensive test plans for network elements and software releases. Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute detailed test plans for IMS network elements and software releases.
- Validate test cases and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for network issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.
- Document test results and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience with UK 4G/5G Core Network architecture and operations.
- Hands‑on expertise with IMS Core components and protocols.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Wireshark, XCAL, XCAP, and QXDM.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

- Experience with VoLTE and VoNR implementations.
