I'm partnering with a well-respected global technology solutions and services provider to hire a Data Centre Solutions Architect into their London-based architecture team.This is a client-facing pre-sales role for someone who loves on-premises infrastructure and enjoys turning complex business problems into clear, well-designed technical solutions. You'll join a highly skilled team of architects and engineers who speak at conferences, run meetups and are genuinely passionate about data centres, cloud, automation and AI.What you'll be doing:Working directly with clients to understand their challenges and design the right on-prem solutionData centre network modernisation: spine-leaf, SDN and Cisco ACIInfrastructure automation and cost optimisation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)Designing resilient, highly available environments and DR strategiesArchitecting AI-ready infrastructure (GPU/CPU compute) and advising on power, cooling and rack densityPresenting solutions and business value to technical and senior stakeholdersWhat you'll bring:5+ years in enterprise infrastructure or data centre architectureHands-on design or deployment experience across some of: Cisco UCS or Dell PowerEdge, Cisco Nexus/ACI, HCI (Nutanix, HyperFlex, Azure Local), Pure Storage or Dell EMC, VMware Cloud FoundationExperience architecting and delivering migrations end to endStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to link technology to business outcomesBonus points for CCNP, NVIDIA certifications, Python/REST APIs, or Docker/Kubernetes
