First Point Group is recruiting for a Data Systems Analyst / Data Architect on behalf of a UK charity delivering critical support services to emergency services personnel and their families. In this 100% remote contract offering an immediate start (in 2-3 weeks), it's a unique opportunity to lead a strategic data transformation project that will directly improve how vulnerable police officers, staff, and families are supported through better use of data and insight.

The successful candidate must have proven experience delivering Data Systems Transformation projects, including:

  • Reviewing existing systems
  • Conducting gap analysis
  • Producing assessment reports
  • Delivering strategic recommendations and Data Architecture designs
  • Creating implementation roadmaps for handover

Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable. While the daily rate may be lower than comparable private sector opportunities, this 3-month contract offers the chance for an immediate short-term project to leave a lasting legacy by shaping the charity’s future data and insight capability at a strategic level, with work that will have genuine social impact across the UK emergency services community.

This is a highly visible transformation assignment suited to a senior consultant-level professional who can assess the organisation’s current data maturity, identify risks and inefficiencies, and provide a practical roadmap for improving reporting, integration, governance, and insight capability. The successful contractor will work closely with leadership teams and internal stakeholders to evaluate how data is currently captured, stored, analysed, and reported across the organisation. The outcome of this engagement will provide the foundation for the internal Head of Insight and Data teams to build upon following completion of the contract.
