They need a Data Centre Design Lead to work at the centre of critical infrastructure innovation. As a design lead, you’ll help shape world-class facilities that meet the highest demands for scalability, sustainability, and performance.
Your Role:
- Lead the end-to-end design of enterprise and hyperscale data centre solutions.
- Drive collaboration across disciplines—architecture, engineering, MEP, and project delivery—to ensure design intent and execution are aligned.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, site evaluations, and capacity planning based on evolving customer needs.
- Champion design best practices, sustainability goals, and compliance with local/global standards.
- Provide technical mentorship and direction to junior consultants and engineers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders during project development and evolution phases.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Data Centre Design Lead or Consultant role, ideally within major-scale environments.
- Deep technical understanding of power, cooling, security, and network infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
- Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-spec environment.
- Familiarity with relevant frameworks and certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, LEED, DCD) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a consultative, client-facing approach.
- Availability to start immediately or within short notice.
