quantity surveyor in Bath

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in telecoms or utilities infrastructure? We’re hiring for a long-term contract role supporting a major fibre network rollout across the South West.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Estimating costs and materials for fibre build projects
• Reviewing designs and validating quantity requirements
• Managing budgets, tracking material usage, and controlling costs
• Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers
• Supporting procurement, contract management, and change control
• Visiting sites to assess progress and ensure accurate reporting
• Producing reports, risk assessments, and commercial documentation

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying or PMO roles
• Strong knowledge of FTTx or telecoms infrastructure
• Skilled in Excel, MS Project, and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or similar
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites

• RICS certification
• Experience with fibre network builds or telecoms contractors
• Strong commercial awareness and contract negotiation skills
