Associate Director | Data Centre Design & Construction

We're partnered with a fast-growing, values-led consultancy working at the forefront of digital infrastructure development, who is looking for a Senior-level Data Centre Consultant to join their team.

This is an Associate Director position for someone who thrives in both technical and strategic advisory environments, with end-to-end exposure to design, procurement, and delivery.

You'll work with a mix of developers, investors, operators, and enterprise clients across high-profile, international projects, bringing your engineering or construction know-how into a client-facing, leadership role that goes far beyond traditional project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advising clients on data centre strategy, feasibility, and program delivery.
  • Leading or supporting engagements in technical due diligence, design reviews, and construction planning.
  • Bringing subject matter expertise in MEP, resilience planning, phasing, and build-ability.
  • Managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with consultants, PMs, and stakeholders.
  • Shaping impactful client deliverables and presenting at key meetings and industry events.

Requirements for this Role:

  • 5–10+ years in data centre design, engineering, or construction delivery
  • Deep knowledge of critical systems (electrical, mechanical, cooling, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a consulting environment
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and a natural problem-solver
  • A Degree in Engineering or related discipline. If you are a Chartered Engineer, that's a big bonus for this one.
