Teaching Modes

• Online teaching: you can be located anywhere as long as you have access to a stable internet. No business trip is required; the company will provide training on software and skills for online courses. Location of online course teaching can be arranged with flexibility.
• Offline teaching: primary sites are Hull, Birmingham and Sheffield, as well as other possible UK locations. For face‑to‑face teaching with students, the company can arrange travel and accommodation accordingly. Offline teaching option applies only to the candidate in the UK.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing lessons
• Participate in designing, developing and updating teaching products
• Writing syllabus
• Making teaching PPT and lecture notes
• Writing coursework exercise‑book and coursework analysis
• Perform teaching activities (including online and offline teaching):
• one-to-many and one-to-one tutorial
• one-to-many pre‑exam tutorial
• one-to-one research and dissertation tutorial
• pre-recorded online courses
• Summarise teaching activities; keep teaching materials; cooperate with the company to establish and improve the system of knowledge management.
• Participate in promoting public classes to meet the needs of market promotion.
• The teaching scope includes business majors, and professionals in other subjects are also welcome to join.

Requirements

• Kind-hearted, a nice person with good character, patience and love.
• Having entrepreneurial spirit, big interest in international education, and strong work ethics.
• Having strong teamwork spirit, responsibility and dedication to teaching.
• Strong ability of handling work pressure and time management: being efficient in coordinating own study and working hours.
• Good learning ability, willingness of continuous studying and absorbing the cutting‑edge knowledge of the relevant subject.
• Willingness to actively participate in company training and discussions for exam preparation, and to continuously improve the level of teaching and research.
• Good communication skills, desire to bring out own abilities and pass on knowledge.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing skills, ability of fully understanding English textbooks and related teaching materials.
• Academic background requirements: PhD student or candidates with a completed PhD.

Preferred

• PhD in Accounting, International business and management, Finance, Economics, Human resources, Marketing, Construction management and civil engineering, Education, Media, Computer science, Electrical and electronic engineering (EEE), and related courses as major (PhDs majoring in other academic disciplines are also welcomed).
• Applicant who has experience of teaching and tutoring.
