First People Solutions require an enthusiastic, dedicated Travel Co-Ordinator to join our established fast paced team. This role is ideally suited to a logically minded candidate with high volume administration experience. They should possess excellent organisational skills and be confident dealing directly with internal and external senior stakeholders. Previous experience within a fast-paced Travel Department would be an advantage but not essential; however, the successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, good time management and an eye for detail.
Key Tasks
- Booking of Flights and accommodation for all contractors and distribution of all confirmations.
- Resolve travel queries from contractors and clients.
- Roster updating in accordance with client's master roster.
- Ability to maintain and manage excellent relationships with our airline and hotel providers.
Key skills required for role
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High standard of administration and record keeping.
- A working knowledge of windows based packages, strong Excel knowledge and good IT skills are vital for this position.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight accounts deadlines are key to this position.
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain confidential information is essential.
- The right candidate will be proficient in the above areas, confident communicating with colleagues at all levels within the organization and able to simplify detailed information so that it is easily understood by contractors/clients.
- They will continually strive to improve processes affecting their role and that of their colleagues and will be confident and persuasive when presenting these changes to the board.
