Training & Payroll Coordinator – 12 Month Contract 📍 Dundee (Office Based) 💰 Competitive Salary + Benefits 🕓 Full-Time | 1 Year Fixed-Term First People Solutions are delighted to be supporting a well-established civil engineering contractor in their search for a Training & Payroll Coordinator to join their team in Dundee. This is a one-year contract role, offering the opportunity to work within a busy, supportive office environment. The Role: As Training & Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both the HR and Finance functions of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring training compliance across the workforce, coordinating with external providers, and managing accurate payroll processing for employees. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and maintain training records for all staff Book and track mandatory training and refresher courses Liaise with training providers to ensure compliance and certification Administer weekly and monthly payroll with a high degree of accuracy Respond to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally Support HR and Finance teams with general administrative dutiesWhat We\’re Looking For: ✅ Previous experience in payroll administration (weekly payroll desirable) ✅ Knowledge of training coordination within a construction or industrial environment (advantageous) ✅ Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and database management ✅ High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential data ✅ Strong communication and organisational skills This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure in both training and payroll within a respected contractor and play an important role in keeping the workforce supported and compliant.
