First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced SPEN Substation Site Manager to join a major high-voltage infrastructure project in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a significant SPEN project. We are looking for a highly experienced Site Manager with a proven background in managing high-voltage substation works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day delivery of SPEN substation works. Oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications. Maintain programme, quality and health & safety standards. Liaise with clients, engineers and project stakeholders. Ensure all site documentation and permits are maintained and up to date. Essential Requirements SPEN Competent Person accreditation. SMSTS. CSCS Black Card. HSG47 - Avoiding Danger from Underground Services. Temporary Works Supervisor. Proven experience in HV cabling installation. Previous experience managing SPEN substation projects. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. What's on Offer Negotiable rate, dependent on experience. Immediate start available.
