First People Solutions are currently recruiting for a BIM Coordinator / Technician to join a well-established consulting engineer in Glasgow. This is a great opportunity to join a busy BIM team working across major infrastructure projects throughout the UK, particularly within the highways, power and energy sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the coordination and management of BIM information across multidisciplinary projects, helping ensure digital delivery standards are met throughout the design process. You'll be working closely with engineers, technicians and project teams to maintain BIM compliance, improve workflows and support the delivery of high-quality design information across multiple live projects.
Responsibilities- Coordinate BIM models and design information across a range of infrastructure projects
- Ensure project deliverables are in line with client BIM standards
- Carry out model reviews, audits and quality checks
- Support project teams with BIM processes, workflows and information management
- Assist with the production of BIM documentation
- Support and mentor junior team members where required
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within a UK design engineering environment
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and Bentley software
- Strong BIM coordination experience on civil infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
