First People Solutions is currently working with a leading consulting engineer who is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. They are involved in the planning, design, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects across the UK. With a diverse portfolio, they operate in key sectors such as Government, Energy, Healthcare, Property, and Transport, among others.
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Civil Engineer from an established design engineering consultancy, with strong civil design skills and a solid background in development infrastructure.
What we need from you:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
- Experience in the design and specification of civils drainage, earthworks and/or roads/highways
- Proven experience using software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils 3D is desirable
