The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are currently seeking full time, temporary aviation security officers to join our clients terminal team, to complete the required security services that are critical for both flight and operational safety.
Principal Responsibilities:
- To control access and egress to restricted areas of the heliport.
- To undertake required security searches of passengers and their luggage to ensure that items being carried are compliant with regulatory and client requirements. This involves both hand searches and the use of x-ray equipment.
- To undertake regular foot patrols of the terminals and wider areas around the base to ensure there are no security breaches, such as bags left unattended.
- To assist passengers with any security queries.
- To assist in the event of any emergency situation by performing the duties assigned to the security team.
- To remain vigilant for any safety risks or hazards, and take appropriate action as per department procedures.
- To participate in other terminal/base tasks as required in support of the operation.
Qualifications:
- X-ray experience with valid NXCT desirable, but not essential.
- Ground Security Officer (GSO) Level 1, desirable, but not essential.
- SIA licence NOT a requirement.
Experience:
- Previous experience of working in an aviation/security operational environment is highly desirable, but full training can be given. However, candidates must have experience in working in a front-facing, customer service focused position.
