First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer who is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join their dynamic Infrastructure team. This is a chance to contribute to impactful projects within Custodial, Education, Commercial, Leisure, and so much more.
You will be an experienced Civil Engineer with strong skills in producing technical designs, specifications, and reports for projects of varying size, type, and complexity. In this role, you will manage a large variety of exciting projects, lead a team of engineers and technicians and maintain close relationships with clients.
What we need from you:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status (CEng / IEng) required
- Good understanding of forms of appointment and construction contracts
- Experience liaising with new and existing clients and winning work
- Experience managing infrastructure schemes and bespoke projects
- Previous knowledge of writing and presenting projects
- Excellent communicator, capable problem solver and able to lead a team effectively
