First People Solutions are currently recruiting for CAA B1.3 and B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers for both Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance positions based in Aberdeen.

Whether your experience is in a fast-paced line environment or heavy base maintenance, we have opportunities available to suit your background.

You'll join a professional engineering team responsible for maintaining a varied helicopter fleet while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out and certifying scheduled maintenance inspections, modifications, and defect rectification.
  • Performing either Line Maintenance or Base Maintenance in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining aircraft to the highest standards of airworthiness.
  • Issuing Certificates of Release to Service within the scope of your authorisation.
  • Reporting any safety, quality, or maintenance concerns relating to aircraft, equipment, facilities, or maintenance activities.
  • Working collaboratively with the engineering team to support operational requirements.

Requirements

  • UK CAA B1.3 and/or B2 Licence.
  • Previous helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Experience on the AW189 and/or S92 is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in Line Maintenance or Base Maintenance.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a professional engineering team.
