SystemArchitect-Responsibilities:

• Detailedplanning,designinganddevelopingofICTservicesincludingnetworkandserverapplications.
• Networkelementconfigurationincludingday-to-dayservicedelivery.
• Networkandserverimplementationandoptimisationincludingdesigningandtestingprocedures.
• Service,networkandhardwaremigrationplanningandexecution.
• Proofofconcepttestingandacceptancetesting.
• Creatinghandoverdocumentsanddeliveringtrainingwithinthedivision.
• Developingandimplementingnewfeaturesandservices.
• Carefulconsiderationregardingimplementationandensuringsystemsareprofitable.
• VendorandCarriernegotiation,andcontrolforgainingthenecessaryinformationandfollowingitthrough.
• Establishingandceasingcircuitconnectionsofthesystems.
• 3rdleveltroubleshootingwithrelatedinternalteamsandbeingthefirstpointofcontactforinternalandexternalmatters.
• Actingasatechnicalleadforbothinternalandexternalstakeholders,ensuringclearcommunicationandaccountability.
• Incaseofcriticalincidents,coordinatewithrelevantpartiesandprovidesupportasrequiredtoensureservicecontinuity.

SystemArchitect-Requirements:

• Planningabilities-toencompass-Network/systems/Serversaspartofstrategic,serviceinfraandO&Mplanning
• SufficientworkexperienceinNetworking/Knowledgelevel:CCNP,JNCIA
• TCP/IP,IPv4,IPv6,Ethernet,DataTransmission,L2/L3VPN,Multi-LayerNetworking,QoS,SecurityFirewall,SDWAN,EVPN-VXLANandIPSec.SONET/SDH,Ethernet,MPLS,OpticalNetworking.
• GenericRouting,EIGRP,RIP,OSPF,ISISandBGP4.
• CiscoIOS,Junos,PaloaltoPAN-OS,MikrotikOS,AWSoperationandconfiguration.UNIXcommandoperationandsetup/management
• FacilityManagement,NetworkCabling,EquipmentInstallation.
• Providerrelatedserverapplication.I.E.SMTP,DNS,HTTP,Radius,SNMPMonitoring&TrafficMgmnt.
• KnowledgeandproficiencyinExcel,Word,PowerPoint,VisioandMicrosoftOutlook.
• Abilitytoreadandwritetechnicaldocumentation.
• Strongtimemanagement/multitasking&organisationalskills.
