Mandarin speaking Assistant Mortgage Administration
Location: London – Hybrid, 4 days in office per week.
Employment type: Permanent (Perm).
Start date: ASAP.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
Salary: Depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up with customers for overdue mortgage payments, ground rent and management fees while recording the correct status of loans.
- Monitor the daily retail mortgage payment report and process interest adjustments when required.
- Process drawdown, collateral, and repayment information in the relevant system for retail mortgage business.
- Reconcile overdue interest and make adjustments for retail mortgage.
- Review legal and loan documents and approvals before drawdown for retail mortgage.
- Send repayment notice to customers in a timely manner.
- Take and release title deeds and other securities and maintain safekeeping of security documents.
- Analyse facility limits and resolve issues with branches prior to drawdown.
- Ensure operations risks are minimised in relation to daily transactions.
- Investigate and respond to customer queries in relation to retail mortgage.
- Monitor repayment funds via GUPP and suspense account.
- Prepare an annual and interim mortgage statement.
- Prepare SWIFT in GUPP for the retail mortgage drawdown.
- Liaise with relevant external stakeholders as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree educated in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- Proven track record in a similar business stream.
- Good experience of retail mortgage products and processing.
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for retail mortgage.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Commercial awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in the use of MS Excel.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills.
- Mandarin spoken and written at a native level.
- Relevant experience in mortgage products.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
