Your New Salary: £24.73 per hour
Location: Central London, 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days WFH (Monday and Friday)
Job status: 3-month temp contract (possible going permanent)
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (35h per week) with 1h lunch break
Who You'll Be Working for: A global manufacturer and distributor of hormone-based medicines.
What You'll be Doing each day:
- Monthly sales reconciliation, invoicing and reporting
- Monthly stock reconciliation and reporting
- Preparation of monthly sales estimates as required
- Co-ordinate monthly S&OP meetings with commercial team and global supply
- Co-ordinate monthly rolling sales forecasting process including submission
- Manage regulatory and quality requirements on supply and stock
- Manage creation, review and update of all product supply related SOPs
- Close working with the pre-wholesalers for optimising storage space in the warehouse
- Close working with the wholesalers for optimising sales orders and monthly sales forecasting
- Prepare and analyse reports related to logistics performance and costs
- Monthly KPI reporting of stock coverage, logistics and warehousing
- Liaise with Commercial and Global Supply to ensure the timely introduction of new products
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- A thorough understanding of the distribution and commercial environment in UK and Ireland pharmaceutical sector
- A good working knowledge of the import and export regulations for UK and Ireland
- Proven track record of supply chain management and a thorough knowledge of distribution practices in UK and Ireland
- Understanding of ABPI and IPHA codes
- Strong business acumen with project management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
- A team player, flexible, adaptable, willing to cover for colleagues when necessary
- Ability to influence and easily build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and able to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work within frameworks and departmental guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to write clear and influential reports
