Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the processing and checking of London and Dublin payrolls.
- Supporting the Payroll team in providing excellent service to employees.
- Using HR ServiceNow to handle payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders, prioritising urgent queries and ensuring timely responses in line with SLAs.
- Assisting with complex queries – non-standard or exceptions to policy and process.
- Running various reports at payroll cut-off for processing starters, leavers, and transfers.
- Calculating prorated pay.
- Managing and tracking statutory parental leave cases.
- Processing annual bonuses and salary increases.
- Processing Global Mobility arrangements, hypothetical tax, and UK shadow payroll.
- Processing Non-Executive directors' payroll.
- Inputting various flexible benefits on top of payroll.
- Managing pension contributions through payroll and sending monthly schedules to the pension provider.
- Working closely with Tax advisors to understand complex taxation arrangements.
- Producing payroll accounting reports for Finance teams of each entity.
- Producing payments for HMRC, Charity, and Pension contributions.
- Responsible for various payroll tasks including the distribution of P45s.
- Preparing Class 1A NIC reporting and P11d.
- Supporting the annual PSA processes for all entities.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity, prioritising, reporting, and acting on system errors in a timely manner.
Experience:
- Previous experience in UK payroll administration is desired.
- High level of IT literacy, particularly in Excel, is desired.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence peers and stakeholders.
- Good attention to detail.
- Numerate, logical, organised, flexible, and creative approach to problem solving.
