Treasury Analyst - What You\'ll be Doing:

  • Managing the daily cash position, including monitoring the position during the course of the day, following up internally regarding expected movements, liaising with banks regarding expected receipts of funds, pooling and sweeping between accounts held with various banks and arranging funding as required (spot and hedge)
  • Liaising with other internal departments to ensure that the data in systems used for cash flow forecasts is accurate
  • Process manual payments.
  • Execute transactions as part of company’s liquidity, cash and/or currency risk management
  • Transact money market deposits and other approved investments
  • Liaise with internal and external counterparties and arrange Import financing transactions/ discounting including booking of these transaction in internal systems
  • Support other treasury and trade finance activities.

Treasury Analyst - The Skills You\'ll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluent level of written and spoken Mandarin
  • Degree in Finance/Banking/Commercial/Economics or equivalent. Fresh graduate with some internship or work experience could be considered.
  • Preferably has a general knowledge of other financial instruments traded on the interest rate, currency and commodities markets
  • Preferably experience working in a pop trading room of a bank
  • Preferably experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses and payment processing
  • Analytically minded
  • Preferably Knowledge of all treasury all activities
  • Analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modelling skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
