Job Title: Mandarin Speaking Associate – Corporate Banking

Skills Needed: Fluent in Mandarin and English, experience in Corporate Banking, preferably in the Natural Resources sector.

Salary: Dependent on experience

Maternity Cover: 12 months

Location: Office-based

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: 35 hours/week

Responsibilities of the Mandarin Speaking Associate:

• Participate in business marketing activities with clients in the Natural Resources sector, including cross-selling products such as loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX & Derivatives, bond issuance, and RMB business.
• Coordinate with the Bank and Group to provide high-quality products and services.
• Prepare business proposals, credit analyses, and financial models; follow the approval process.
• Collaborate with legal teams to complete documentation.
• Manage the credit portfolio post-lending.
• Support client relationship development and departmental operations.
• Produce statistics and analysis, review credit lines, and perform related tasks.
• Work with Head Office and local networks to develop business and support clients.
• Maintain accurate client and credit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, KYB, and other legal requirements.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in a major international bank, ideally in Natural Resources.
• Understanding of corporate financing and banking products.
• Knowledge of credit analysis and financial modeling.
• Ability to interpret loan agreements and financial documents.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Multitasking ability.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
