Job Introduction -Paediatric Nurse/Children\’s Nurse – COMPLEX CARE COMMUNITY TEAM!

We are recruiting qualified paediatric complex care Nurses to join our team and provide care to our clients in the community.
We are looking for childrens nurses who share our values and want to be part of our growing community complex care team, provide support within family homes, avoid hospital admissions, and ensure the best quality of care is provided.

*Requirements for the role of Paediatric Nurse:*
- Registered Nurse (RSCN paediatrics packages complex medical needs RGN for Adults packages) Must have a minimum 6-10 years post qualifying experience hospital and community
 - Must have experience working in PICU / HDU / or caring for ventilated children/Adults in the community for at least 2 years.
 - Must have recent experience of managing uncontrolled seizures and dystonia in paediatrics
 - Must have recent experience of intermittent catheterisation (females)
 - HDU / ICU course an advantage
 - Dystonia Management
 - Uncontrolled seizure management & emergency seizure medication
 - PEG Feeding and Airvo
 - Experience in chest physiotherapy and deep effective suctioning
 - Must be an excellent communicator and work well within a team
 - Must be a PAYE staff member or willing to swap to PAYE.
 - Must be willing to work with the family and learn the clients routines/specifics
 - Must attend all FOH training before starts work in the care package
 - Must complete all FOH workbooks as part of the training.
 - Driving license would be advantageous.
 - Flexibility with working patterns (days and nights)*Must be able to commit to 3shifts a week*
 - 12hr shifts (days 8am-8pm / nights 8pm-8am)
