First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 & 2:1 care to children in their own home.
- Build rapport with family members and other staff members.
- Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced.
Requirements for the role:
- Minimum of 12 months' experience working closely with children with clinical complex needs.
- Ventilator Experience - CPAP/BiPAP.
- Gastrostomy / Mickey Button Experience.
- Seizure Management - Experience with complex seizures & administering rescue medicine.
- Tracheostomy - Experience working with children that have a Tracheostomy on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
- You will also be required to take the child to school via prearranged transport.
Shift Patterns:
08:00 - 20:00 Monday - Saturday.
We need staff who are able to commit to a minimum of 2/3 shifts per week on an ongoing basis.
Rates of Pay:
£16 Flat Rate Monday - Sunday.
