First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants or Nursery Nurses with a caring / energetic personality who have a passion for supporting young people with learning disabilities in the community, to help look after a 17 year old female in her own home. You will work alongside an experienced Nurse whilst covering the day shifts on the package, based in Milton Keynes MK8.

Shift Patterns:

  • Days Only
  • Day Shifts: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (Adhoc Shifts Monday - Sunday)
  • Shift Times: 15:00 - 21:00 (Weekdays), 08:00 - 18:00 (Weekends)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2:1 care to service user in their own home, always working alongside a Nurse
  • Supporting with activities such as walks, swimming and trike rides
  • Build rapport with family members and other staff members
  • Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

Requirements for the role:

  • A minimum of 1 Years recent UK experience in healthcare sector
  • Good communication (clear spoken English)
  • Knowledge or experience with Therapy/Sensory Play and more
