First Option Healthcare are seeking a Care Manager to oversee high-risk mental health care packages requiring crisis intervention. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in managing complex and safeguarding-led cases, including trauma, exploitation, substance misuse, gang affiliation, and individuals at high risk of going missing. You will coordinate care packages, provide oversight and support to staff, and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) including NHS mental health services, social care, safeguarding leads, police, and commissioners to ensure safe, responsive, and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate high-risk mental health and crisis care packages
- Ensure safe, reliable staffing with appropriately skilled professionals
- Respond calmly and decisively to incidents, safeguarding concerns, and missing-from-care situations
- Liaise with MDT professionals to contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and multi-agency meetings
- Support staff and manage crisis intervention links
Working hours: 37.5. Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30
Salary: £24,000-£50,000 OTE, dependent on commission performance.
Start Date: 2nd February 2026
