Site Services & Utilities ManagerHaverfordwest Creamery

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Services & Utilities Manager to oversee all site utilities and service operations at our high-performing creamery. This role will provide focus on the reliability and performance of critical site assets such as steam, power, and compressed air, identifying energy reduction / continuous improvement opportunities which will help to drive our ambition of becoming net-zero by 2040.A key aim for this role is to yield valued insight and performance management of assets and derisk the business from any future compliance issues. This role will be responsible for ensuring that site assets have maintenance plans in place which identify failure modes and minimise down time. There is a strong emphasis on contractor management, monitoring service levels and KPIs through regular meetings with our service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all site utilities such as steam, power, and compressed air.
- Ensure compliance with legal and environmental regulations.
- Lead energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives.
- Manage service contracts and relationships with utility providers.
- Provide support for site and CAPEX projects when required.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in line with audit requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience in utilities management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with energy management systems.
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND or higher).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the business.
