Location: Covering South & South West

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Per Annum + Company vehicle + Bonus

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hour working week.

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of the UK's largest manufacturer of medical & scientific refrigeration. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a well established company with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, UKAS calibration, and repair of medical refrigeration equipment, including:

  • Pharmacy fridges and freezers
  • Blood fridges
  • Plasma freezers
  • Monitoring systems

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical and laboratory refrigeration equipment.
  • Work independently and efficiently while representing the company professionally.
  • Accurately record work completed, travel and labour times, and expenses, submitting job reports daily.
  • Maintain company-provided van, tools, stock levels, and equipment in line with company policy.
  • Plan and prioritise work based on office scheduling, raising any potential delays early.
  • Ensure confidentiality on all customer sites, following GDPR principles.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate should be based in Yorkshire, to predominantly cover Yorkshire and the Northeast area (M1, M62 corridor).
  • Full UK driving licence - essential.
  • Self-motivated, well organised, and able to work independently.
  • Previous field service experience desirable (but not essential).
  • F-Gas qualification desirable (but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills with neat and accurate handwriting.
  • Basic English, Maths and IT skills are required.
