First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Chassis Convertor. Our client encourages applications from ex-Military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Modify and convert vehicle chassis to meet specific customer or manufacturer requirements.
- Carry out chassis extensions, shortening, reinforcements, and structural alterations.
- Fit subframes, crossmembers, mounting brackets, and body supports.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, build sheets, and technical specifications.
- Perform cutting, welding, drilling, and fabrication work to a high standard.
- Install mechanical and electrical components required for chassis conversions.

- You will need to have previous experience as a Chassis Converter.
