Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Water Hygiene Plumber/Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and growing water hygiene team, working across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role offers a mix of plumbing remedials and water hygiene tasks, providing excellent variety, stability, and long-term opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out plumbing remedial works identified from water hygiene reports
- Install and maintain components such as TMVs, stop cocks, ball valves, and overflow screens
- Remove dead legs and assist with repairs to mains water systems
- Support with water hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring and tank inspections
- Update compliance spreadsheets and ensure programmes remain on track
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
- Respond to urgent jobs and support wider team requirements
- Identify and report potential hazards or issues with system operation
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
