Overview
First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with an international Defence business to recruit a Vehicle Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis at their Middle Wallop depot. The role involves working with military vehicles such as Land Rovers, MAN SVs, and aircraft refuellers to support Army operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general vehicle maintenance and servicing duties.
- Undertake driving tasks, appropriate to licences held.
- Support team members and other trades as necessary.
- Refuel aircraft and operate towing tractors, including Land Rovers and MAN SVs.
- Ensure quality service delivery aligned with customer needs and contractual requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering experience (REME Class 2, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, including City & Guilds).
- Experience with aircraft refuelling, Oshkosh, and military vehicles; knowledge of MoD practices and JAMES system is beneficial.
- CAT B licence.
- Cat C+E Licence or willingness to train.
- ADR qualification or willingness to train.

- Location: Middle Wallop
- Salary: £34,043 per annum
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours/week with overtime
