Overview
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Personal Trainer / Coach to join an ambitious and growing fitness business at their soon to be new site in Tenterden. The new facility is expected to open in February 2027, with the successful candidate joining the team in January 2027 to support the launch and get everything ready ahead of opening in Feb 2027. This is a hands-on coaching role focused on delivering high-quality group training sessions, creating a positive member experience and helping people achieve their fitness goals. The role would suit someone with a genuine passion for functional strength and conditioning, who enjoys working with people and creating an engaging training environment. Ex-Service PTIs are particularly encouraged to apply, especially those with experience delivering physical training and coaching groups. Civilian candidates with the relevant qualifications and experience are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Coaching
- Deliver engaging and well-structured group coaching sessions
- Maintain a safe, motivating and inclusive training environment
- Work with members of different abilities and fitness levels
- Build strong relationships with members
- Support member progression and retention
- Work towards individual and team KPIs
- Contribute to the development of the new Tenterden site
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Personal Training qualification
- Experience and a genuine interest in functional strength & conditioning
- Experience delivering group fitness or training sessions
- Strong communication skills
- Positive and self-motivated attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on feedback
- Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team
- Ex-Service PTI background would be highly relevant
