Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Swimming Pool Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Our client is a growing, high-standard swimming pool engineering company covering the Cotswolds and Wessex, specialising in the servicing, maintenance and repair of swimming pools for high-end residential clients. The successful candidate will ideally hold a City Guilds 2391-52 Electrical Qualification or equivalent. Full, hands-on training will be provided in swimming pool systems, water chemistry and plant rooms, providing an excellent opportunity to develop an electrical background into a specialist, long-term engineering career. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Swimming Pool Engineer:
- Inspect, test, diagnose and repair electrical control panels, pumps, dosing systems, electric heaters, UV systems and automated pool controls.
- Carry out routine plant room servicing and mechanical maintenance.
- Install and commission swimming pool equipment and associated systems.
- Conduct water testing and chemical balancing.
