Overview
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Support Administrator on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate LEV testing and maintenance visits for in-house engineers and subcontractors.
- Maintain a live calendar of upcoming inspections and re-certifications.
- Review LEV test reports for completeness and accuracy.
- Convert finalised reports into PDF format and archive them in the appropriate document management system.
- Draft and issue quotations for LEV services using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Track quote status and follow up with clients as needed.
- Organise and maintain LEV related documentation, including risk assessments, method statements and service records.
- Ensure all documentation is version-controlled and audit-ready.
- Source and evaluate subcontractors for LEV related works.
- Issue tender documents and collate responses for management review.
- Allocate jobs to in-house engineers based on skillset, location and availability.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for field operations.
- Monitor calibration and certification dates for LEV test equipment.
- Arrange timely re-certification to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Answer daily incoming calls and emails, providing first line support for LEV queries.
- Log service requests and escalate technical issues appropriately.
- Support the wider facilities or H&S team with ad hoc tasks.
- Maintain accurate records in line with ISO or internal QA procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with LEV systems and COSHH regulations (advantageous but not essential).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.
