Job Description BJ142 - Electromechanical Field Engineer Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum + Company Vehicle Working Hours: Monday - Friday First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, who are a global company that supports users of vibration test systems with installation, maintenance, repair, calibration and consultancy. The Field Service Engineer builds and maintains relationships with customers while supporting the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of Vibration Test Equipment and systems. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Carry out preventative maintenance on customer sites in line with recommended procedures. Work with a team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently. Travel around the UK and overseas to install and maintain industrial testing equipment, sometimes on short notice. Educated to a minimum NVQ level 2/BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent. Experienced in industrial plant maintenance and have a strong background in engineering and substantial knowledge of electro-mechanical engineering Proven experience in working in some or all of the following areas are essential: industrial electronic systems, mechanical fitting, fully conversant in electrical/electronic principles. fault-finding to sub-assembly level and diagnosis of electronic faults to component level would be a distinct advantage Must be able to work flexible hours and easily adaptable - sometimes with short notice and at weekends.
