Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a PSV/HGV Mechanic on behalf of one of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified vehicle mechanic to join a well-established engineering team maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, inspections and breakdown support while ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability. Full technical training and ongoing career development are provided, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced PSV/HGV Mechanics, Light Vehicle Technicians looking to upskill, or engineers from other sectors seeking a new challenge. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and component replacement.
- Identify vehicle faults and determine the appropriate repair methods and required parts.
- Complete routine servicing and scheduled vehicle inspections.
- Use handheld diagnostic and data capture devices.
