Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to support a growing South East operation, carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a fleet of rental generators. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high levels of customer service while working both independently and alongside internal teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on diesel generators.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs on rental generators, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Conduct site surveys to assess customer requirements and maintenance needs.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when required.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring company vehicles and work areas are clean, safe, and well organised.
- Comply with company quality, environmental, energy management, and health safety procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service while building positive working relationships with customers.
