Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking an Air Source Heat Pump & MVHR Service / Breakdown Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on both domestic and commercial systems across a varied portfolio including social housing, private, and commercial properties. The role offers excellent long-term stability, ongoing training, and clear progression opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service and fault-find domestic and commercial air source heat pump (ASHP) systems
  • Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and refrigerant-related faults
  • Check system flow rates, temperatures, and overall performance
  • Work on associated equipment including buffer vessels, low loss headers, pump sets, and plate heat exchangers
  • Service, inspect, and maintain MVHR units and ventilation systems
  • Replace filters and check fans, controls, and condensate drainage
  • Investigate airflow and system performance issues
  • Complete service, maintenance, and breakdown reports accurately
  • Follow RAMS and safe working procedures at all times
  • Deliver high levels of customer service, particularly in occupied properties
  • Liaise with internal teams regarding repair recommendations and required work
