Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Field Operations Technician (Electrical) to join their team based in South London. As a Field Operations Technician (Electrical), you will supervise and support a team of engineers delivering electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services in client properties. You will carry out site visits, quality control inspections, and provide technical support while ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience of domestic and commercial electrical installations, including boiler control circuit installations.
  • Supervise and support engineers across multiple sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
  • Undertake duties as a Qualified Supervisor (QS) with the NICEIC by reviewing, signing off, and ensuring accuracy of NICEIC electrical certificates (EICs, MEWCs, EICRs) produced by the electricians.
  • Perform site visits, toolbox talks, van inspections, and spot checks to ensure compliance with company procedures and PPE requirements.
