Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently searching for a Lift Service Engineer on behalf of our client. As a Lift Service Engineer, you’ll work from home and play a key role in keeping clients’ lifts running smoothly. You’ll handle servicing and minor repairs, managing your own schedule, while also joining our call-out rota to support clients outside regular hours. Our client strongly encourages applications from the Ex-Military community; however, all applicants will be considered. Training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, fault find and repair various types of lifts and lift equipment
  • Work in various locations, on your own
  • Carry out sling LOLER inspections

Skills and Qualifications:

  • NVQ3 in Engineering (Ideally in Lift Engineering)
  • A good mechanical and electrical background backed up with a relevant qualification
  • Customer focused
  • Experience with hoist and lift equipment
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Excellent time management skills
