BJ156 – Lift Engineer Location: Aylesbury + Surrounding AreasSalary: £40,000 – £45,000 Per Annum + Company VanWorking Hours: Monday – FridayOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Lift Engineer on behalf of one of our fantastic clients in Aylesbury.Our client provides a range of mobile & static platform lift hire solutions, backed by expert training services. Whilst they encourage applications from ex-military personnel, all candidates will be given due consideration. You will be providing on-going support to hydraulic lift tables, electric platform lifts, scissor lift tables, and electric lift tables.Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on both in-house and third-party powered access equipment.
- Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) examinations.
- Assist with servicing, refurbishments, and general workshop duties.
- Respond promptly and effectively to on-site breakdowns and callouts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven qualifications and experience as a Powered Access Engineer or Plant Fitter.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
