Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Joiner on behalf of one of our clients. Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To deliver associated joinery responsive and routine maintenance repairs.
  • To deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd fix joinery work on construction contracts.
  • To discuss issues directly on site with customers to determine exact requirements.
  • To work to specifications, drawings, and work sheets.
  • To carry out joinery work in numerous locations each day with remote supervision.
  • To act as a mentor within the workplace for apprentices, work experience placements, new starters etc, to assist in the development of their skills and to promote a positive image of the Company.
  • To accurately complete all relevant internal and external documentation, such as vehicle inspection sheets, material requisitions, job completion sheets in target to ensure financial/property records are maintained in an auditable system.
  • To discuss work related joinery issues directly with customers on site with a professional and diplomatic approach to determine their exact requirements.
  • To drive and be responsible for impress stock in a company vehicle.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have a valid driving license.
  • Have experience in Joinery.
