First Military Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive business group. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Van Technician to join a highly reputable commercial vehicle dealership in the Heathrow area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business officially recognised as a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years. Duties and Responsibilities for the Van Technician:
- Predominantly in and around West and South London but also possibly some occasions in East London
- Travel to client sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding service updates.
Skills and Qualifications for the Van Technician:
- Essential Qualification: Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI in LCV Vehicle Repair & Maintenance.
- Experience: Diagnostic, service, and repair experience required.
- Compliance: Must be able to identify worn or faulty components per DVSA standards.
- Driving Licence: Full UK licence for relevant vehicle classes.
